    Description

You are bidding on a beautiful cacheted United States First Day Card honoring the American Civil War Centennial in 1965.  The First Day of Issue is for Scott # 1182 issued to honor the surrender at Appomattox on April 9, 1965.   Four additional stamps are also on this First Day card, all part of the 5 stamp Civil War Centennial issue (Scott #'s 1178-1182).  This is a Fleetwood cachet on the card as noted in the bottom right of the card.  The card is 6 inches by 9 inches.
While I am not a stamp dealer, I am a lifelong stamp collector and member of APS for over 40 years.  Trying to winnow my collection a bit.  Selling some odds and ends.   The card is in mint condition. The card is clean and free of tears or marks or creases.  Corners and edges are crisp.
Shipping will be .25 to anywhere in the lower 48 states.
Payment is expected within 72 hours of the close of the auction.
