Lovely Vintage Collectors Plate
Windmill and Birch Trees On Lake
Stamped On Back- Petrus Ragout and Co. MAASTRICHT Made In Holland with the Sphinx Symbol over the top
There is a built in hanger on the back of plate- 2 holes molded in the plate with a sturdy wire hanger threaded through- ready to hang!
Numbers and letters molded into the pottery look like 74-11 and 5023A is painted below the hanger

Very Good Condition
Glaze is glossy and shiny, image is very peaceful and done in dark muted rich blue green tones
Looks to my eye as if the scene is meant to look like a moonlit view at night
Some light crazing to glaze from vintage age [1920s or before]
The only flaw is a FAINT crack in the surface of the glaze which is about an inch long on the bottom left of the plate- would be impossible to notice but for a TINY [and I mean tiny, about the size of a dust speck] dot on the glaze which has chipped off over the crack. See photo 8- the glaze is not chipping off around it and it would be VERY easy to touch up.
A really pretty plate, would look wonderful hung on a wall or on display.
