Antique Mandolin Guitar-Harp by The Home Educational Co. Concord NC
I am unfamiliar with this piece so I am not sure if it needs tuning or works properly. Signs of aged dust, some paint loss at edges/corners, scuffs, scratches. One of the wires is loose at the bottom right corner (see photo 1). I think there might be a loose screw/nail for the gold painted spindle because the top of it is not securely connected and I came move it a little bit (see photo 7 for example. Although I can move it back in it's proper place). Needs some cleaning up. There is a small image on the bottom and it is marked PALACE ARTS SOUVENIR ST LOUIS 1904 (see photo 5). It is also marked PATENTED MAY 29, 1894 (photo 11). I notice the black wooden piece on the back does not go completely down to the bottom and I can see the tips of what looks like nails. Not sure if this is suppose to be this way or not (photo 2 & 5)
