See all pics and info below for more detail than you will get for any other same item listing on eBay !
Please scroll down through 23  pictures; text between most pics.
The FC line of Kelty baby backpacks has been very popular over the last few years and this pack is in very good condition except for the two small holes which are shown (and easily repaired). See pics toward bottom of this page.
Because of all the straps and folds in these packs they are always a little hard to show effectively, but in the 23 pictures here I think I have covered most of the territory. Please look at all pics and ask questions (if you have any) before you buy.
In the picture above you can see the removable backpack which can be taken off and used by the parents for items needed on rest stops, but I also tell parents if you have another child who could actually WEAR the daypack to let them do it with their small belongings and pack along any little baby stuff to help mom, dad and baby out !
It may be hard to see in the pic above but the section where the logo shows is actually an ORANGE color and the sides of the pack are red. That orange "band" runs from the top of the pack all the way through the bottom storage bag. Don't know why Kelty made it that way unless two different batches of "red" were used inadvertently.
The bottom storage bag is plenty big enough for diapers or any other bulky item(3). Unlike the detachable day pack at the top of this carrier, the bottom bag does not detach.
Pic above is the unzipped bottom storage bag.
There are two of the netted bottle holders, one on each side of the pack.
The day pack unzips to give access to the interior which includes a partitioned liner for easily locating several items. See pic above and below.
The black folded pad shown above (stored in the day pack) is a baby changing pad. Could also be used just a pad for sitting the child or anyone else on damp or rough ground.
The interior of the pack has a key holder which always helps protect keys from getting lost from a pocket which might hold other items that are pulled out (like a handkerchief, lip balm, etc.) PROTECT THOSE KEYS !
The logo above is on the back of the pack; the spots on the right in pic above and in closeup below look like they came from tree sap or some such source. I used Goo Gone and a regular liquid cleaner and got them looking as they do above. I don't know if they will clean up any more than that. Certainly don't detract that much from the appearance and not at all from the functioning of the pack.
View above and below is from the other side of the pack and more features are shown below in the last set of the 27 pictures here.
The padded shoulder straps are protectively thick and have lengthy adjustable straps to accomodate different sized adults.
In the middle of the gray area shown above is an adjustable frame to tailor the pack to the carrier...don't ask me how it works !
The hip pads are thick and the strap is wide as you can see above.
The picture just above and the pic just below are on the adult's left side of the pack where the hips make contact with the frame and bear the brunt of the baby's weight. A similar hole is shown 2 pics below on the right side of the pack.
Both the holes are about the size of a dime. The new owner can decide how best to mend them to prevent further wear. Several options would be open to do that.
The pic above shows the hole on the right side of the pack at hip level.
There are some white paint scuffs on the black aluminum frame. Could be cleaned off if the new owner wanted to do that.
The picture above and the one just below are hard to decipher by just looking at them. There are the child's shoulder straps, the child's seat, a forward protective pad in case the child's head moved forward, etc. All straps and connectors are in like new condition.
