FDC produced for the 4c Project Mercury stamp issued in Cape Canaveral, Florida, on February 20, 1962 (Sc. 1193). Black cachet produced by Artcraft, featuring a launching rocket, a globe and a photo of John Glenn. Artcraft produced a number of varieties for this issue. The scan shows two of them. ONLY THE BOTTOM COVER is included in this lot. The rocket in the top cover has a dark top and a wide body, while the rocket in the bottom cover has a striped top and a narrow body. Not listed in
