Supertone Mandolin Circa 1930 - Original Serialized Case - Player - Ships FREE!!

This is a wonderfully playing, excellent sounding vintage mandolin.   Often overlooked, Supertone made some excellent mandolins for the working musician in the 1930s.
This mandolin was played but well cared for.  It is completely structurally sound, there are no cracks breaks or repairs.   The action is low and the mandolin plays well with no buzzing or dead spots. It has a vibrant punchy tone with plenty of volume and good balance.  It has just been lightly cleaned and restrung with D'Addario light mandolin strings.  All parts and components are original and intact.   The tuners turn hold pitch but are a bit stiff, which is to be expected at 90+ years.   Please view the pictures for a full aesthetic description of the mandolin.
The case deserves a mention all its own.
The case is original to the mandolin and bears its own serial number on the leather handle.
Most of the remaining bottom opening style cases from this era are in pieces or tatter remnants.  The case this mandolin comes with is in excellent condition, completely intact and likely worth the price of this listing on its own.
