Description

A decorative plate in glazed white and tan ceramic with "Brabant Mobilistatie Grenstroepen Limburg 1939" encircling a lion passant with sword and arrows depicting military mobilization of the Netherlands. Measures 8" wide, has drilled hole on back to hang on the wall, stamped "Maastricht Made in Holland" with a sphinx and serial number. Condition is excellent, a rare find from World War II. We have a set of 6 but this is for one plate only.
